Buffer Block – Eco-Friendly Pond pH & Hardness Stabilizer

UltraClear® Buffer Block is a natural solution designed to promote stable, healthy water chemistry in ponds. When alkalinity is low, ponds experience dangerous pH swings that stress fish and reduce biological balance. BufferBlock delivers essential calcium and alkalinity to smooth out these swings and support healthier living conditions.  Beyond its buffering benefits, BufferBlock helps nourish the beneficial bacteria essential for clear, balanced water, and also contributes calcium for fish bone development. Simply place the block in a high-flow area like a skimmer, waterfall, or filter—no measuring needed. Each block treats up to 2,000 gallons and lasts about 3 weeks before dissolving and needing replacement.  Safe, slow-release, and eco-friendly, UltraClear® BufferBlock is the easiest way to maintain clearer, cleaner, and more resilient pond ecosystems.   Dosing Instructions Pond Size  Application  Duration  Notes  1,000–2,000 gallons  1 full block  Up to 3 weeks  Standard application rate.  2,000–4,000 gallons  2 full blocks (1 per 2,000 gallons)  Up to 3 weeks  Distribute across separate flow zones if possible.  4,000+ gallons  1 block per 2,000 gallons  Up to 3 weeks  Use multiple blocks as needed, placed in different high-flow areas.  **Replace when dissolved.
