Not recommended for: Anyone with a known sensitivity to a listed ingredient, including soybean sterols and rosemary leaf extract. Oily or congestion-prone skin that finds a rich cream heavy — the Ultra Light version is the lighter option. Use as a substitute for sunscreen; it contains no SPF. Use immediately around a professional in-office treatment unless your provider has told you to. Frequently Asked Questions How is it different from Ultra Light Moisturizer? Both use the same TriHex peptide base. This one is the richer of the pair, weighted with conditioning lipids, soybean sterols and linoleic acid for skin that feels dry or tight. Ultra Light Moisturizer is the silkier, lighter version for normal to oily skin. Is it too rich for daytime? Not for most dry skin, though it takes a minute longer to settle. If you wear a mineral sunscreen or make-up over the top, many people prefer the Ultra Light version in the morning and this one at night. Where does it sit in my routine? One pump morning and evening, after your serums and targeted treatments, and before sunscreen in the morning. Can I use it over a retinol? Yes. Applying it after a retinol, or both before and after, is a common way to keep the skin comfortable while it adjusts to a retinol routine. Does it leave a greasy film? No. It is cushioning rather than oily and sinks in without a slick finish, which is what separates it from a heavy occlusive balm.
