Ultra Magnetic Chalkboard Paint Installation Guide How To Apply Ultra Magnetic Chalkboard Paint? The Ultra Magnetic Chalkboard Paint is designed for easy application by anyone, with no professional installation required. To achieve the best results, follow the steps below: Step 1 – Start by filling any cracks or imperfections and sanding the surface smooth. Step 2 – For bare or highly absorbent surfaces, apply a suitable water-based primer beforehand to ensure optimal adhesion. Step 3 – Mix the magnetic plaster thoroughly before use. Apply three even coats of magnetic plaster, allowing each coat to dry. Lightly sand between coats to achieve a smooth and level surface that maximizes magnetic performance. Step 4 – Once the final coat of magnetic paint is fully dry, apply two coats of black chalkboard paint. Allow 2 to 3 hours drying time between coats to ensure a durable, writable finish. Step 5 – Allow the surface to cure for 24 hours before use. It ensures both the magnetic and chalkboard properties function at their best.
