beachBUB® Ultra Beach Umbrella Base

The beachBUB® ULTRA Beach Umbrella Base is ASTM Compliant The beachBUB ULTRA Beach Umbrella Base is fully compliant with the ASTM F3681-24 Beach Umbrella Safety Standard. Engineers from the Consumer Product Safety Commission have determined that a 7.5-foot umbrella needs 75 lbs of resistance at the bottom pole to be safe in winds up to 30 mph. This is the standard that umbrellas now need to meet. The beachBUB ULTRA Umbrella Base exceeds this requirement by 160% when filled properly. As public beaches start enforcing the ASTM F3681.24 standard, beach visitors will need to use a wind-resistant, stable umbrella that meets its criteria or risk not being allowed to use their umbrella on the beach.
