Umpqua U-Series U001 Black Dry Fly Hooks

Upgrade your fly box with a unique twist on a legendary design. Modeled after the all-time classic Tiemco 100 shape, the Umpqua U-Series U001 is the ultimate workhorse hook for tying standard dry flies, terrestrial profiles, and parachutes. This limited batch features a stealthy black finish instead of the standard bronze—perfect for tiers crafting dark silhouettes like ants, beetles, crickets, and dark mayfly variants. Built from high-grade carbon steel with chemically sharpened points and an easily crushable micro barb, these value-driven hooks deliver premium performance without the premium price tag. Clearance Sizes Available (50-Packs): Size 14: The ideal baseline for heavy-producing Adams, foam beetles, small grasshoppers, and standard caddis patterns. Size 16: Perfect for blue-winged olives, micro-caddis, flying ants, and technical mid-summer duns. Features: Profile: Classic down-eye, standard wire weight, and a 1X long shank layout. Material: Chemically sharpened high-grade carbon steel for quick penetration and high strength. Special Finish: Limited-run sleek black plating for stealthier presentation and unique bug silhouettes. Note: We do not normally stock the U001 in black! These 50-packs are priced to move immediately and will not be restocked once gone.
