Motobilt U-Joint Cap Retainers

If you have ever had a u-joint cap fall off, you already understand why this exists. Whether it happens in the shop or halfway through a trail repair, the result is the same. Dirt in the grease. Needle bearings on the ground. Time wasted doing something you never planned to do. This small problem has ruined plenty of otherwise good days. The Motobilt U-Joint Cap Retainers are built to stop that problem before it starts. They snap into place over opposing caps to hold them securely on the u-joint body. Use them to keep new u-joints protected in your tool bag, or snap them on when pulling a driveshaft during a trail repair. The caps stay put. The grease stays clean. The needles stay where they belong. The design is distinctly Motobilt. We could have made a basic clip, but that is not how we do things. These retainers look intentional because they are. Clean lines, solid feel, and a purpose-built shape that locks in with confidence. Manufactured from a durable material similar to ABS, they are tough enough for repeated use in the shop or on the trail. They snap on easily and stay put until you are ready to remove them. Sold in pairs and available in multiple u-joint sizes, these are one of those tools you do not think about until the day you really need them. And when that day comes, you will be glad they are in your bag. Dimensions Guide: Check out page 2 of the instructions for a dimensions guide if you are not sure of the model or series of U-Joint.
