Type 80 Pendant

The Type 80 Pendant by Anglepoise is a striking blend of modern form and subtle detailing. Designed by Sir Kenneth Grange, it features a conical shade and a soft halo light-escape that casts both direct and ambient illumination. Its clean silhouette and concealed cable make the Type 80 Pendant ideal above a modern desk, round coffee table, or media console in stylish residential or commercial interiors. Versatile and refined, the Type 80 Pendant by Anglepoise complements a range of interior styles. It works beautifully in dining rooms, kitchens, or entryways—especially when paired with Scandinavian furniture or mid century modern furniture. Moreover, its engineering allows for balanced lighting and long-lasting durability. As a result, the Type 80 Pendant brings sophistication and practical performance to spaces with modern lighting needs. Since 1932, Anglepoise has led the way in functional lighting design. Originally created by engineer George Carwardine, the first Anglepoise lamp introduced a spring mechanism that changed task lighting forever. Today, Anglepoise continues to refine its iconic forms while collaborating with world-renowned designers. The Type 80 Pendant represents this legacy—timeless, flexible, and thoughtfully made for the modern interior.
