Ty Cobb by Paul Thompson

Ty Cobb Paul Thompson Cropped — a Paul Thompson press photograph of the Georgia Peach in his Detroit flannels, cropped tight to the face that terrified middle infielders for two decades. Thompson's lens caught what the box scores couldn't: the cold, appraising stare of a man who played baseball like a grudge.
