Two Views of a Tree

This diptych presents a textured arboreal form, split across two wood-framed canvases. The artist employs a tactile layering of acrylic paint, enriched with the subtle shimmer of copper and silver leaf, to depict the foliage of a stylized tree. The metallic leaves catch and reflect light, creating a dynamic visual surface. A darker, almost ethereal wash suggests the trunk and a shadowy ground, grounding the luminous canopy. The division across the two panels introduces a subtle fragmentation, inviting contemplation on unity and separation within the natural world. The wooden frames provide a warm, natural border, enhancing the organic yet textured representation.
