Two Spirit Strong Mug

Two Spirit people are not only accepted in most traditional Indigenous communities, but also honored. In many tribes they have traditionally held places of respect as medicine people, healers, the parents of orphans, diplomats, and more. Two Spirit people are understood to embody both genders which blesses them with a deeper understanding of the human condition. Yaqui artist, Michael Horse, painted this image, Two Spirit Love, to honor our relatives who have had the strength to defy the colonizer's attempts to harm and diminish them, as well as force them into binary relationships for hundreds of years. We honor their courage and bravery with this image. This mug essential is sturdy, sleek, and perfect for your morning java or afternoon tea.  The image is on both sides.   • Ceramic • 11oz mug dimensions: height - 3.85" (9.8 cm), diameter - 3.35" (8.5 cm) • 15oz mug dimensions: height - 4.7" (12 cm), diameter 3.35" (8.5 cm) • Glossy finish • Microwave and dishwasher safe
