Two Sided Wonder - Left

Fine art prints are a new offering from Bee Inspired featuring the encaustic works of Kara Brook Brown. Two Sided Wonder is the left side of a diptych. Diptychs are two-piece works. Although this left side of the painting can certainly stand on it's own, it's quite handsome when both parts are installed.  This printed on museum-quality, acid-free 100% cotton rag paper. Hand-crafted sustainably-harvested wood frame made in the U.S.A. Matted with 4Ply RagMat museum mat board. The glazing is acrylic. Hanging kit, wall bumpers, and detailed directions included. Artist Statement I share how I experience the mystery and joy of life through my art. I became captivated by encaustic in 2010 and its sustainable properties. Building up layers of wax is fascinating; so tactile and satisfying. It is slow and difficult – just like bees building the honeycomb within hives. This practice takes me into the heart of nature where I thrive. I want my art to inspire with its translucence, radiance, and harmony of the multiple layers, so that you want to preserve it for generations. Final Sale.
