Two Hens

Two Hens | Original Chicken Painting | 16" x 20" Bring the warmth of a country garden into your home with Two Hens, an original acrylic painting inspired by the beauty of backyard life.  Textured brushwork give the painting a sense of movement and life, celebrating the everyday charm found on farms and in cottage gardens. Painted in my signature colorful, layered style, Two Hens is perfect for farmhouse, cottage, traditional, or collected interiors. Whether displayed in a kitchen, breakfast nook, mudroom, or gallery wall, it brings warmth, personality, and a connection to the simple rhythms of rural life. Each painting I create is inspired by the landscapes, farms, and wildlife that have shaped my memories—from growing up in Texas to visiting family farms throughout Appalachia. My hope is that my work evokes the feeling of places that are both deeply personal and universally familiar.
