Prolonged periods of sitting impacts blood flow to the extremities and muscle imbalance, thus negatively impacting our health, fitness, and even lifespan. Introducing movement into our daily routines, even a little, can have profound health benefits. That's why Ultimate Office features a variety of sit/stand desk solutions. However, standing all day or even alternating between sitting and standing can be an extreme alternative, especially if one is new to the concept. Enter a new posture-perching. Perching encourages a hip to torso angle between 130-135o, promotes natural movement, and puts less stress on the body compared to standing. By perching, your body can realize the same health benefits of standing while achieving the comfort of sitting. Ultimate Office is proud to offer its new line-up of "œperching" solutions, each with unique construction and features to accommodate your style of work. If you're an active sitting beginner, ready to learn how to perch, but still want the option to sit, then Twixt is the stool for you. Twixt features a flexible ring under the base that allows the stool to adjust according to varying body positions. The ability to rock, combined with a seat that swivels 360o, combats static sitting, improves circulation and posture, and promotes balance thus strengthening the core. Smooth pneumatic lift quickly adjusts the seat to desired position. Twixt is available in two models. The seat of this Desk-Height model adjusts from 17-22", making it ideal for use with standard-height desks. An Extended-Height model is also available in which the seat adjusts from 22-32", perfect for use with counter-, bistro-, or adjustable-height sit/stand desks. Both models available in black, blue, green, orange, and black vinyl. Use with optional Stabilizing Foot Bar (sold separately).DimensionsProduct Dimension: 14 1/2"w x 17-22"h x 14 1/2"d
