Twisted Copper D with Dr. Bristol Link

The Twisted Copper D with Dr. Bristol Link Bit combines a twisted copper mouthpiece for enhanced responsiveness with a Dr. Bristol link for even pressure distribution. The D-ring design provides lateral stability, making this bit ideal for horses that need clear guidance and a consistent connection.  Key Features of the Twisted Copper Mouthpiece : Enhanced Responsiveness : The twist in the mouthpiece creates additional contact points on the tongue and bars, encouraging quicker reactions to rein aids. Promotes Salivation : Copper encourages natural salivation, keeping the horse’s mouth soft and responsive. Designed for Skilled Riders : The sharper action of the twist is best suited for riders with educated hands. Key Features of the Dr. Bristol Link : Even Pressure Distribution : The flat, angled link spreads pressure evenly across the tongue and bars, preventing pinching and discomfort. Improved Communication : The angled design provides a more refined feeling, helping horses respond promptly to riders’ guidance. Promotes Acceptance : The Dr. Bristol link encourages horses to accept the bit and maintain consistent contact. D-Ring Design Features : Lateral Stability : The fixed D-shaped rings provide lateral stability, preventing the bit from sliding through the horse’s mouth and offering more precise control during turns. Direct Communication : The D-Ring allows for a more stable and direct connection between the rider's hands and the horse’s mouth, making it suitable for horses that need clearer guidance and more consistent contact. Gentle Guidance : While providing stability, the D-Ring design ensures smooth and gentle communication between horse and rider, encouraging responsiveness without discomfort.
