Starboard Twin Fin 8'9 x 32" LTD

Experience a board engineered for speed and freedom. The TwinFin’s unique shape, with a pronounced hip behind the fins, delivers dynamic, agile turns and a loose, skate-like ride that lets you carve high-line rail maneuvers effortlessly. Its innovative channel tail boosts acceleration and aids tail recovery during radical slides, keeping you in control on every wave. Whether you’re tackling small, less-powerful surf or challenging overhead conditions, the TwinFin empowers intermediate surfers to push harder turns while offering advanced riders a high-performance, fluid ride. COMPARISON TO THE SPICE AND PRO: The TwinFin is best for smaller, weaker waves, letting intermediate surfers perform more radically with less technique. It stays lively throughout the wave, generating easy speed and quick recoveries. Despite its small-wave focus, it can handle well overhead surf, pumping off the bottom and racing sections. Compared to the Spice and Pro, the TwinFin is looser and unlocks speed faster. The Pro remains the high-performance choice in bigger, critical conditions, delivering top hold and control. The Spice offers versatility with quad or thruster setups, featuring bevelled rails for smooth rail-to-rail transitions and added hold. The TwinFin complements but doesn’t replace either, appealing to those seeking relaxed lines, high-speed arcs, and tail slide turns.
