Twilight Zone Rose

Rosa 'Twilight Zone' is an exciting grandiflora rose with smoky, velvety, deep purple flowers and a strong, spicy fragrance. Its extremely full blooms and extra layers of petals give it the charm of an old-fashioned rose. The large, 3.5- to 4.25-inch diameter flowers hold 80 to 96 petals and are ideal for cut flower arrangements. Perfect for both garden beds and containers, 'Twilight Zone' is a resilient, disease-resistant rose that tolerates 'hot and dry' as well as coastal conditions. The 'Twilight Zone' grandiflora rose is a medium-sized, bushy shrub with semi-glossy leaves. Its big, round buds open into luxurious dark violet flowers that bloom in flushes from late spring through fall. Moderate temperatures enhance the intensity of the flower color. The intoxicating fragrance of lemon blossoms and cloves transports you to another dimension. Grandiflora roses combine the best traits of a floribunda and hybrid tea rose into a robust and taller shrub with showy blooms in clusters of three to five.
