Turtle Lamp Combo Pack

The Zoo Med Turtle Lamp Combo Pack is a convenient bundle designed for new and existing turtle terrariums. It includes a Repti Tuff Splashproof Halogen Lamp (50 W) and a ReptiSun 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Lamp (13 W) to satisfy the heat, UVB, and UVA needs of your shell-dwelling pals. Repti Tuff Splashproof Halogen Lamp (50 W) The Zoo Med Repti Tuff is a splashproof halogen lamp designed for use in aquatic and semi-aquatic reptile enclosures (e.g. turtle terrariums). In addition to providing a much-needed basking site, this heat-generating lamp emits beneficial UVA rays which promote natural reptile behaviors. It also improves color rendition to enhance the visual appearance of your reptile pets. The ultra-durable Repti Tuff is specifically designed to withstand high humidity and incidental water splashing that would cause traditional heat lamps to fail or shatter. This long-lasting lamp features an average burn life of 2,500 hours, and can be paired with a thermostat or rheostat for increased output control. ReptiSun 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Lamp (13 W) The Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 Mini Compact Fluorescent Lamp is perfect for all tropical reptile and amphibian species, providing 5% UVB, 30% UVA, full spectrum output. This lamp uses a special UVB transmitting quartz glass for maximum UVB penetration, and screws right into standard threaded sockets (no separate ballast required). The UVB emissions help prevent and reverse the dreaded MBD (Metabolic Bone Disease), while UVA increases feeding, mating, and other natural behaviors.
