Featuring a cosmic hero in a silver battle-suit, the Turrican series of games brought nonstop action to all gaming systems of the 80’s and 90’s (this includes C64 and Amiga, Atari ST and PC, as well as Genesis and Super Nintendo)! Chris Huelsbeck created the beautiful synthesizer scores for these games, and he is an immensely popular game music composer with a long history of creating exciting and memorable melodies. Huelsbeck’s soundtracks played a major role in shaping Turrican into a digital legend over the years, and many players have never forgotten the magic found in this music. We are proud to present to you the Turrican Soundtrack Anthology, a very ambitious and comprehensive music album project that has created updated versions of nearly all music from the Turrican series! The realization of this massive dream was funded and made possible by the support of fans using the Kickstarter crowd-funding platform—the campaign was by all accounts a huge success! The backers and fans are marveling at how great the music sounds, and we are pleased to be offering the complete soundtrack in digital form to anyone who missed the campaign but would like to hear and own this collection of music history… Credits Produced by Chris Huelsbeck Co-Produced by Jan Zottmann & Thomas Böcker “Flightmare” (Track 1.11) composed by Ramiro Vaca “Turrican II – Anthology Suite”(Track 4.1) Wayne Marshall, WDR Rundfunkorchester Köln, WDR Rundfunkchor Köln Eine Produktion des Westdeutschen Rundfunks Köln, 2012 Arranger: Roger Wanamo Executive-Producer: Dr. Michael Breugst Tonmeister: Markus Mittermeier Toningenieur: Uwe Sabirowsky Arrangements & Orchestrations (Track 4.2 – 4.19) Fabian Del Priore In collaboration with Chris Huelsbeck & Jan Zottmann Special Guest Artist (Track 1.16) Vince DiCola (Accompanied by the Burbank MeriCola Virtual Philharmonic Orchestra) Composed by Vince DiCola Arranged & Produced by Vince DiCola & Kenny Meriedeth Special Guest Artist (Track 2.23) Machinae Supremacy Robert Stjärnström (Guitars), Jonas Rörling (Guitars), Tomi Luoma (Guitars), Andreas Gerdin (Bass), Niklas Karvonen (Drums) Arranged by Robert Stjärnström & Jonas Rörling Special Guest Artist (Track 3.22) Allister Brimble Special Guest Artist TSA Vinyl: Yuzo Koshiro Guitars (Track 1.1, 1.14, 2.19, 3.1, 3.12, 3.13) Manus Buchart Guitars (Track 2.6, 4.8, 4.10, 4.18) Charlie Siete Guitars (Track 3.11, 4.3, 4.16) Eike “Romeo Knight” Steffen Guitars (Track 3.22) John Symonds Bass Guitar (Track 3.1, 3.11, 3.13) Josh Fossgreen Cello (Track 3.1) George Chavez Violin (Track 4.19) Michael Stöckemann CD & Vinyl Mastering: Hans-Jörg Maucksch (Pauler Acoustics) TSA Front Cover Artwork: Celal Kandemiroglu & Ogan Kandemiroglu TSA Box Set Artwork: Halil Ural TSA Vinyl Artwork: Markus “Junkboy” Toivonen TSA Logo: The Light Works Liner Notes: Audun Sorlie Layout: schech.net Original Sound Version Recordings & Mix: Holger Lagerfeldt Music Box Arrangement: Chris Huelsbeck & Rick Epperly Campaign Demo Artwork & Support: Kaspar Zenklusen Support & Logistics: Christoph Winkler, Alexander Prievert Video Production: Rudolf Stember Additional Video Footage & Production: Heiko Franz, Yusuf Halal, Jonathan Shillingford Cologne Dinner Party Coordination & Support: Lutz Osterkorn Vintage Hardware & Software Support: Tobias Preis, Lutz Osterkorn Representative for Mr. Huelsbeck: Gloria Soto (Max Steiner Agency)
