The pendant on this piece comes from a collar worn for celebration in Tibet, The carvings are beautiful in that it comes from skill but does not strive for perfection. When I see these collars I have to catch my breath, they are scarce now. You can find new ones but as with anything else its not the same. Pendant from Tibet, African Trade beads (King), Djenne beads from Mali, Carnelian, Turquoise and bone beads from Nepal
