Turquoise Beaded Pearl Choker

Hand-strung in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, this Turquoise Beaded Pearl Choker centers a single large baroque pearl, set slightly off center and surrounded by tiny Japanese seed beads. The turquoise beadwork is cool and vivid, a shade that carries a little summer with it. Adjustable from 15 to 17 inches, it sits high on the neck as a choker or eases into a soft collar, so it settles wherever feels right on you. Each choker is made to order using a genuine white baroque pearl and premium Japanese seed beads, hand-strung bead by bead. Because every baroque pearl is a different size and shape, ranging from about 11mm to 18mm, no two chokers are ever quite alike. Whether chosen for yourself or given as a gift for the modern romantic, the collector of small beautiful things, or the person who loves an everyday piece with real handwork behind it, this choker is designed to feel personal, enduring, and worth keeping for a very long time. Why Pearl and Seed Beads? Pearls are the only gemstone made by a living creature, formed layer by layer into a soft, natural luster. Setting one baroque pearl off center, framed by fine Japanese seed beads, gives the piece an easy asymmetry that feels handmade rather than machine-perfect. The result is quiet, tactile, and modern. Each pearl is hand-selected for luster and character, then strung simply so it remains the focal point. No excess ornamentation. Just clean handwork that lets the pearl speak for itself.
