Turn Sofa 3

The Ferm Living Turn Sofa 3 basically gives you that whole sculptural design concept but scales it up to work for families or people who actually want to stretch out and get comfortable. Available as a made-to-order piece, you can choose from their complete fabric range including premium Hallingdal wool, textured Pasadena blends, chunky boucle options, smooth cotton linen weaves, and specialty patterns in multiple colorways that work perfectly on their own or coordinate beautifully with other Turn collection pieces. The design plays with this interesting contrast philosophy - the outer frame has these clean, strict lines that look modern and intentional, while the inner cushioning is all soft curves that actually invite you to sit down and stay for hours. At 200cm wide, it's sized right for three people or one person who wants to really spread out, but those thin powder-coated steel legs make the whole thing feel like it's floating rather than taking up massive floor space. What makes this sofa really practical is the reversible seat cushions that come in dual-tone combinations - basically you can flip them around when you want a different look or when one side starts showing wear. The 42cm seat height and 75.5cm depth give you proper support whether you're having morning coffee with friends or settling in for a weekend movie marathon, and the high resilience PU foam construction with beech and plywood backing plus no-sag springs means it's built to handle daily family use rather than just looking good in photos. The tight upholstery keeps everything looking tailored and sophisticated, but there's enough give in the cushioning that you don't feel like you're sitting on furniture that's too precious for real life. The curved inner arms provide just enough support without making you feel boxed in, and the whole piece has this timeless quality that works with different decorating styles as your taste evolves over time. Ferm Living has been perfecting this approach to Scandinavian design since 2005, working with talented design studios like Says Who to create furniture that balances aesthetic appeal with functionality that actually works for daily life. Based in Copenhagen but partnering with skilled European manufacturers who understand quality construction, they've built their reputation on pieces that enhance how you live rather than forcing you to change your habits to accommodate fancy furniture. The Turn collection reflects their understanding that the best seating combines visual elegance with comfort that works for real families, plus that whole contrast philosophy where opposing elements come together to create something better than either would be alone. Through thoughtful material choices and construction techniques that prioritize both durability and style, Ferm Living creates furniture that becomes part of your home for years rather than just until you find something better.
