Turn Sofa 2

The Ferm Living Turn Sofa 2 brings that whole contrast thing into a compact seating option that actually works for people who don't have massive living rooms but still want something that looks intentional and well-designed. Available as a made-to-order piece, you can choose from their complete fabric lineup including premium Hallingdal wool, textured Pasadena blends, smooth cotton options, and specialty weaves in multiple colorways that coordinate beautifully with other Turn collection pieces or work perfectly on their own. The design plays with this interesting contradiction - the outer frame has these strict, sculptural lines that look clean and modern, while the inner cushioning is all soft curves that actually invite you to sit down and get comfortable. At 160cm wide, it's sized right for couples or small spaces where you want proper seating without overwhelming the room, plus those thin powder-coated steel legs make the whole thing feel like it's floating slightly off the ground. What makes this sofa really useful is the reversible seat cushions that come in dual-tone combinations - basically you can flip them around depending on your mood or what look you're going for that day. The 42cm seat height and 75.5cm depth give you proper support whether you're having morning coffee or settling in for a movie marathon, and the high resilience PU foam construction with beech and plywood backing means it's built to handle daily use rather than just looking good. The tight upholstery keeps everything looking tailored and clean, but there's enough give in the cushioning that you don't feel like you're sitting on furniture that's too precious to actually use. The curved inner arms provide just enough support without making you feel boxed in, and the whole piece has this timeless quality that works with different decorating styles as they evolve. Ferm Living has been perfecting this approach to Scandinavian design since 2005, working with talented design duos like Says Who to create furniture that balances aesthetic appeal with real functionality. Based in Copenhagen but working with European manufacturers who understand quality construction, they've built their reputation on pieces that enhance how you live rather than forcing you to change your habits to accommodate fancy furniture. The Turn collection reflects their understanding that the best seating combines visual elegance with comfort that actually works for daily life, plus that whole contrast philosophy where opposing elements come together to create something better than either would be alone. Through thoughtful material choices and construction techniques that prioritize both durability and style, Ferm Living creates furniture that becomes part of your home for years rather than just until you find something better.
