All New TurmeriGOLD from Peak Performance Nutrients provides Turmeric Extract guaranteeing a high level of Turmeric's active component, curcumin. Curcumin (diferuloylmethane) is a yellow pigment present in the spice turmeric (Curcuma longa) that has been associated with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antibacterial activities. Other Turmeric products provide only the powder form which has no standard for curcuminoids, and can provide only 1% curcumin. This can lead to an ineffective product with results that vary. Since TurmeriGOLD uses highly concentrated, extracted Turmeric only a 15 gram dose is needed for your horse. One of the major problems with curcumin is perceived to be the bioavailability. TurmeriGOLD adds Omega 3 fatty acids and the only clinically proven ingredient to improve absorption, Bioperene® is standardized piperine black pepper extract. TurmeriGOLD is the new standard in curcumin supplementation with high content Turmeric extract designed for maximum absorption to help your horse with aches and discomfort associated with exercise and competition.
