Available Size2 oz / 60 g Professional RecommendationChoose this treatment when you want a full sensory exfoliating ritual rather than a quick step — skin that looks dull and congested, a weekend evening, and twenty minutes you are willing to give it. The official directions are worth following exactly: about one teaspoon of powder into the outer cap, then a few drops of water stirred in gradually until it whips into a mousse, at roughly four parts powder to three parts water. Apply a thin layer over the face, extend to the neck and décolleté if you like, let it dry for ten to thirty minutes, then rinse with tepid water while massaging gently — that final massage is the exfoliating part. The warming sensation as the mousse activates is expected and is what the paprika in the formula is there to do. For a milder experience, add more water to the mix and keep your first session to the ten-minute end of the range. This and the Radish Seed Refining Peel are the two exfoliating options in this range, and they suit different moments. The peel arrives ready to use, goes on thin, stays on for three to five minutes and is easy to dilute — the controlled, low-drama choice, and the better starting point if your skin is reactive. The Turmeric Energizing Treatment is mixed fresh each time, warms noticeably, sits on the skin far longer and finishes with a manual massage, so it is more intensive on both the sensory and the exfoliating side. Never use them on the same day. If you own both, alternate them across the week only once each has felt comfortable on its own, and let a Beauty Ambassade professional guide you if you are combining them with regular facials or dermaplaning. Safety InformationFor external use only. Introduce this treatment gradually — one shorter application in the first week, mixed with a little extra water — and build up only if skin stays comfortable. Do not use any other exfoliating product on the same day, and finish every morning routine with a broad-spectrum sunscreen, because freshly exfoliated skin looks and feels more sun-sensitive. Keep the mousse away from the eye area, the eyelids and the lips, and never apply it to broken, freshly waxed or already irritated skin, or to skin that is sore after time in the sun. A warming sensation while the mousse is active is expected and typically settles as it dries; sharp stinging, burning or a flush that outlasts the rinse is not — remove the product immediately with tepid water. Patch test along the jaw before the first full application, mix only what you need for one session, keep water out of the jar, and store it closed, dry, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Not recommended for: Skin that is broken, freshly waxed, already irritated or sore after time in the sun. The eye area, eyelids and lips. Same-day layering with a peel, scrub or any other exfoliating treatment. Use in the days immediately after a resurfacing salon service, unless your therapist says otherwise. Anyone with a known sensitivity to any ingredient on the label, including paprika or turmeric. Frequently Asked QuestionsIs the warming sensation normal? Yes. The formula activates with water and paprika creates an invigorating warmth as the mousse works — that is the intended experience. It usually eases as the layer dries. What is not expected is sharp stinging or burning; if that happens, rinse it off with tepid water straight away. How much powder and water should I use? About one teaspoon of powder in the outer cap, with water added a few drops at a time to roughly four parts powder to three parts water. Stir until it whips into a mousse. Adding more water makes the sensation milder. How long should I leave it on, and how often? Ten to thirty minutes per the official directions. Start at ten minutes, once a week, and extend the time or the frequency only once your skin has told you it is comfortable. Should I use this or the Radish Seed Refining Peel? Start with the peel if your skin is reactive or new to exfoliation — it is shorter, thinner and easier to dilute. Choose this treatment when you want a longer, warming ritual and your skin already handles exfoliation well. Not both on the same day. What should I do afterwards? Rinse with tepid water, massaging gently to exfoliate, then follow with calming hydration — a mist, a comforting mask or your usual moisturizer. In the morning, always finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen. Pairs Well With Stone Crop Hydrating Mist: the calm hydrating step to reach for straight after rinsing. Seabuckthorn Balancing Masque: the comfort mask for the evenings between treatment days. Radish Seed Refining Peel: the gentler, timed exfoliating option for weeks when skin wants less intensity. Citrus & Kale Potent C+E Masque: an antioxidant step for the look of brightness on non-exfoliating days. Explore the full Eminence collection.
