Turkish Coffee, 100% Arabica

Turkish coffee the way it's meant to be made; 100% Arabica beans, small-batch roasted in the US, finely ground, and worth every minute of the brewing ritual. Turkish style: brewed by simmering finely ground coffee unfiltered in a small pot the brand is named after - a cezve; no filters, no machines - just heat, water, and time. 100% Arabica beans: Cezve sources high-quality Arabica for a smoother, less bitter coffee than with Robusta blends, and with more aromatic complexity. Extra-fine grind: Turkish coffee requires a finer and more uniform grind than espresso, so the grounds settle cleanly at the bottom of the cup. For the coffee connoisseur ready to slow down and experience coffee the Turkish way - with one of the world's oldest brewing rituals. Origins Turkish coffee has been prepared in the same way since the 16th century, when it became central to Ottoman social life — coffeehouses called 'qahveh khaneh' were places of conversation, chess, and community. It remains a symbol of hospitality across Turkey, the Levant, and the Arab world, traditionally served in small cups alongside water and something sweet. UNESCO recognized Turkish coffee culture as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2013. Taste: Smoky, Rich, Toasty. How to enjoy Combine 1–2 tsp of coffee grounds with 1 small coffee cup of water (60- 90mL, to taste) in a cezve or small saucepan Heat slowly over low heat; add sugar early before brewing to avoid stirring once it begins to foam Once foam arises, turn off heat (prior to boiling), pour gently down side of cup to keep foam on top.
