Tungsten Bead Thin Mint

The Tungsten Bead Thin Mint Jig is a deadly hybrid pattern that bridges the gap between streamer and nymph. With its slender profile and blend of olive, brown, and black materials, it mimics both aquatic insects and small baitfish—making it a go-to option for trout in all water conditions. The tungsten bead ensures rapid sink rate, keeping the fly in the strike zone even in fast or deep water. Built on a jig hook for superior bottom control, this fly reduces snags while maintaining a lively jigging motion that triggers reaction strikes. The combination of flash and natural tones appeals to both opportunistic and selective feeders, making the Thin Mint Jig effective year-round in rivers, creeks, and stillwaters.
