In 1953 they began to produce and export crochet and knitting needles for the handcraft industry and have since gained a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship. Today Tulip is run by the third generation of the Harada family, and their reputation for quality endures. Tulip strives to maintain the excellence demanded by the most discerning needlecrafters.
