Tsurumi LB-480A Automatic Submersible Dewatering Pump 2/3 HP 115V 2 Inch Discharge Smart Electrode Relay Switch 63 GPM 3780 GPH Slimline Utility Tool

Automate Your Dewatering with Tsurumi’s Intelligent Floatless Slimline Pump Technology The Tsurumi LB-480A is the professional's choice for smart, hassle-free water management in the most challenging environments. Engineered with a compact "slimline" profile, this 2/3 HP submersible dewatering pump is designed to fit into narrow 8-inch casings, utility vaults, and tight excavations where traditional pumps fail. What sets the LB-480A apart is its advanced integrated electrode relay switch. This floatless automatic technology detects water levels to start the pump and includes a smart timer function that prevents the rapid on/off cycling often caused by rough or turbulent water surfaces. Whether you are managing construction site runoff, foundation clean-ups, or municipal utility drainage, this pump offers "set it and forget it" reliability that protects your project and your motor. Durability is at the core of the LB-480A’s design. It features a high-performance semi-vortex impeller made of wear-resistant urethane, ensuring the pump maintains its original flow rate even as components age. The top-discharge flow-through design uses the pumped liquid to cool the motor, allowing for continuous-duty operation at low water levels and providing superior dry-run capability. For added versatility, the discharge direction can be adjusted to prevent the kinking or folding of your 2-inch hose. Equipped with Tsurumi’s legendary dual silicon carbide mechanical seals and a 32-foot heavy-duty power cord, the LB-480A delivers an incredible 3,780 gallons per hour while standing up to the abrasive sand and grit found on industrial job sites. Key Features Smart Electrode Relay Switch: Automatically activates the pump when water touches the sensors and includes a one-minute run-dry timer to clear the line. Slimline Confined Space Design: Ultra-compact diameter allows the pump to be deployed in pipes and utility openings as narrow as 8 inches. Wear-Resistant Urethane Impeller: Semi-vortex design maintains maximum performance even when pumping abrasive sand and sediment. Top Discharge Cooling: Engineered to maximize motor cooling efficiency, enabling continuous duty at low levels and extended dry-run protection. Dual Silicon Carbide Seals: Tsurumi’s legendary internal mechanical seals provide the best protection against water intrusion in the industry. Adjustable Discharge Direction: Discharge can be oriented to prevent hose kinking, ensuring a consistent 63 GPM flow rate. Extended Reach: Includes a 32-foot heavy-duty power cord for flexible placement across large construction sites and utility vaults.
