TSR-LCD Astronomic Digital Timer for TSRPT Series Landscape Lighting Transformers

Upgrade your existing TSRPT Manual Transformer with the TSR LCD Astronomic Timer, a smart and convenient control solution designed to automate your landscape lighting according to natural sunset and sunrise times. Instead of relying on a basic fixed-time schedule that may require frequent adjustments throughout the year, the TSR LCD uses astronomical scheduling based on your programmed location. Once properly configured, it automatically adapts as daylight hours change from season to season, helping keep your landscape lighting operating at the right time without constant manual resetting. Smarter Landscape Lighting Control The TSR LCD is designed for customers who want the simplicity of automatic lighting control without replacing their existing TSRPT transformer. After installation, users can program the timer according to their location and desired operating schedule. The timer then follows local sunset and sunrise patterns, allowing landscape lights to turn on and off at more appropriate times throughout the year. This makes it especially useful for: Residential landscape lighting Pathway and garden lighting systems Outdoor architectural lighting Commercial landscape installations Properties where lighting schedules change significantly between summer and winter Automatic Sunset and Sunrise Scheduling One of the key advantages of the TSR LCD is its ability to operate according to astronomic sunset and sunrise times. Traditional timers often operate at the same clock time every day. However, sunset may occur much earlier in winter and significantly later during summer. This can result in lights turning on too early, too late, or remaining on longer than necessary. The TSR LCD helps solve this problem by automatically adjusting the lighting schedule as daylight hours change. The result is a landscape-lighting system that operates more naturally throughout the year. Seasonal Time Adjustment With a conventional timer, users may need to manually change the programmed schedule several times per year as sunrise and sunset times shift. The TSR LCD reduces this inconvenience by automatically accounting for seasonal daylight changes once the system has been properly programmed. This means: Less frequent manual adjustment More consistent nighttime lighting Better alignment with actual daylight conditions Greater convenience throughout the year For homeowners, property managers, and contractors maintaining multiple lighting systems, this can significantly simplify routine operation. Easy-to-Read LCD Display The built-in LCD display provides a clear interface for programming and reviewing timer settings. Straightforward controls make it easier to configure operating schedules, while the digital display provides a more convenient programming experience than basic mechanical timer systems. Once the initial setup is completed, the system is designed to operate automatically with minimal day-to-day attention. Upgrade Your Existing TSRPT Manual Transformer The TSR LCD is designed as an upgrade for compatible TSRPT Manual Transformers, allowing customers to add automatic astronomic timing functionality without replacing the complete transformer. This provides a practical solution for existing installations where the transformer is still functioning properly but greater automation is desired. Instead of upgrading the entire landscape-lighting power system, the TSR LCD allows customers to add smarter scheduling capability directly to the compatible transformer. Reduce Unnecessary Lighting Runtime Automating landscape lighting around actual sunset and sunrise conditions can help prevent fixtures from operating when illumination is not needed. Reducing unnecessary runtime can provide several advantages: Lower energy consumption Reduced operating hours Less unnecessary use of lamps and LED components Potentially longer fixture and lamp service life More efficient transformer operation Reduced need for manual switching For larger landscape-lighting systems containing numerous fixtures, better scheduling can make a meaningful difference in overall system efficiency. Reliable, Hands-Free Operation Once installed and programmed, the TSR LCD provides convenient automatic operation every day. Homeowners no longer need to remember to manually switch their landscape lights on each evening or off each morning. Likewise, property managers can maintain a more consistent lighting schedule without making frequent seasonal timer adjustments. The system helps ensure that pathways, gardens, entrances, driveways, and architectural features remain illuminated when they are most needed. Ideal for Complete Landscape Lighting Systems The TSR LCD is particularly valuable for properties using landscape lighting for both appearance and nighttime functionality. It can help automate lighting for: Path lights Spotlights Well lights Step lights Hardscape lighting Garden lighting Driveway lighting Architectural accent lighting Outdoor entertainment areas Commercial landscape installations When paired with a compatible TSRPT Manual Transformer, the TSR LCD provides a convenient central scheduling solution for the connected landscape-lighting system. Key Benefits Automatic Astronomic Scheduling Automatically coordinates landscape lighting with local sunset and sunrise times. Seasonal Adjustment Adapts as daylight hours change throughout the year, reducing the need for repeated manual timer changes. Convenient LCD Interface Provides an easy-to-read display for programming and reviewing settings. Transformer Upgrade Solution Adds automatic timing capability to a compatible existing TSRPT Manual Transformer without requiring replacement of the complete transformer. Improved Energy Efficiency Helps prevent landscape lights from operating unnecessarily during daylight hours or beyond the desired schedule. Reduced Fixture Runtime Fewer unnecessary operating hours may help reduce wear on bulbs, LEDs, transformers, and other lighting-system components. Hands-Free Operation Once programmed, the timer manages the lighting schedule automatically. Upgrade to Smarter Landscape Lighting The TSR LCD Astronomic Timer Upgrade transforms a compatible TSRPT Manual Transformer into a more convenient and intelligent landscape-lighting control system. By automatically following changing sunset and sunrise times, the TSR LCD helps eliminate repetitive seasonal adjustments while improving lighting efficiency and everyday convenience. It is an ideal upgrade for customers who want their outdoor lighting to operate consistently, automatically, and more efficiently throughout the year. For an existing TSRPT installation, the TSR LCD provides a simple way to add smarter scheduling, greater convenience, and dependable automatic control without replacing the entire transformer.
