Trusting Luck

Sometimes love needs a little luck … When she catches her boyfriend cheating with her boss, Mya Young realizes it’s past time to walk away from the toxic relationship she’d lost interest in years ago. Unemployed, she stuffs everything she owns into her compact sedan and takes off to the one place that has always felt like home: Kimbell, Texas. Instead of finding solace, Mya’s first day in the quaint town includes a flat tire, an emergency room visit, and losing her dog ... who ends up being found by one of the town’s most handsome and eligible bachelors. Firefighter Ronan O’Reilly is a single dad of rambunctious twin boys who just got booted out of the only daycare in town. Although it’s more expensive, he knows finding a nanny is the best option for his kids. But when the nanny he hired quits hours into the job, abandoning his sons with a stranger, he’s beyond livid. Until he realizes the kind stranger is the gorgeous, down-on-her-luck out-of-towner whose dog he found a few days ago … and his boys want her to be their new nanny. Fighting the undeniable attraction between them, Mya and Ronan agree to terms for her to care for the twins until he can find a suitable replacement. But with each passing day, the connection between them intensifies and they can no longer deny their feelings … until Mya makes a huge mistake that threatens the lives of Ronan’s sons. Will their luck in love win out over tragedy?
