Trust Bits Sweet Iron Dr. Bristol 2.5 Ring Gag

The TRUST Sweet Iron Dr. Bristol Dee Bit is designed to provide comfort while offering a touch of extra control for stronger horses. Its double-jointed construction allows the mouthpiece to lie smoothly, while the flat Dr. Bristol plate applies light pressure when the horse relaxes and sharper pressure when resistance occurs. The D-ring cheeks stabilize the bit in the mouth, making steering easier and preventing the bit from being pulled through. Crafted from sweet iron, it encourages salivation with its naturally sweet taste and promotes better acceptance. Features: D-shaped cheeks provide stability and easier steering Double-jointed mouthpiece with flat Dr. Bristol insert for variable pressure Prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth Sweet iron material stimulates salivation for improved comfort Recognizable blue color that oxidizes to brown-gray with use Note: Sweet iron develops a natural surface rust when exposed to moisture. This process is normal, encourages salivation, and does not compromise the quality or safety of the bit. Benefits: Supports rider control with a responsive feel Promotes acceptance through increased salivation Aids steering and prevents the bit from shifting sideways Suitable for stronger or young horses requiring guidance Handcrafted with attention to quality and detail
