Tru Technologies Tungsten Grande Class AB Monoblock Amplifier

A Rare Breed: The Full-Range Class AB Monoblock The Tru Technology Tungsten Grande Monoblock is a precision instrument designed for the absolute purist. While the industry has moved toward efficient Class D monoblocks, Tru Technology understands that for the ultimate SQ (Sound Quality) subwoofer or high-output mid-bass application, nothing replaces the tonal depth and "slam" of a high-bias Class AB circuit. Built into the same substantial CNC-machined chassis as the TG 2-channel, this monoblock is hand-crafted in La Crescenta, California, specifically for enthusiasts who demand zero compromise in signal integrity and cone control. Application-Specific Engineering: 4-Ohm and 8-Ohm Variants In a departure from "one size fits all" amplifiers, the Tungsten Grande Monoblock is offered in two distinct, optimized variants. One is precision-tuned to deliver its full 700W RMS into a 4-ohm load, while the other is specifically engineered for high-impedance 8-ohm drivers. This optimization ensures maximum thermal stability and efficiency for your specific driver selection. Because these units are tuned for a specific impedance, they are not designed to be run below their rated load, ensuring that the amplifier operates within its most linear and musical window at all times. The Experience: Absolute Authority and Control The sonic character of the TG Monoblock is defined by its "Grip." With a massive power supply and high damping factor, it provides a level of low-frequency articulation that makes subwoofers sound more musical and less "boomy." Being a full-range Class AB design, its versatility extends beyond subwoofers; it is an incredible choice for driving high-power mid-bass drivers in a multi-amp active configuration. From the hand-engraved badges to the single-sided connection layout, every inch of this amplifier reflects Audio Intensity's commitment to high-end, American-made audio excellence.
