Tru Technologies Tungsten 2 Channel Amplifier

The Gateway to High-Fidelity American Audio The Tru Technology Tungsten T2 represents the starting point for those entering the world of elite automotive sound. While the "Grande" series focuses on raw, high-current power, the standard Tungsten T2 is engineered for the purist who values surgical detail and a compact footprint without sacrificing the legendary "slam" that Tru is known for. Hand-built in La Crescenta, California, the T2 delivers a clean, robust 175W per channel at 4 ohms, providing the perfect balance of finesse and authority for a premium front stage. Calculated Engineering and Discrete Topology Unlike the mass-produced, chip-based amplifiers that flood the market, the T2 utilizes a meticulously calculated sequence of high-end SMD and through-hole components. This hybrid approach ensures the shortest signal path possible while maintaining the soul of a classic Class AB design. Built on a heavy-duty 4-layer FR4 epoxy circuit board, the T2 is designed to minimize interference and maximize heat dissipation. With zero thermal rollback, the T2 doesn't use "safety" circuits to throttle your performance; it relies on its thermally optimized, CNC-machined aluminum heatsink to maintain stability during the most demanding listening sessions. The Experience: Sonic Transparency and Absolute Control On the bench, the Tungsten T2 is defined by its transparency and low noise floor. It offers a "clinical" level of detail that reveals nuances in recordings often lost to lesser equipment, yet it retains a musicality that keeps the listener engaged for hours. With all connections located on a single side, the T2 allows for an ultra-clean installation, making it the ideal choice for compact luxury builds or high-end active systems. Whether you are driving a pair of audiophile components or a dedicated set of mid-ranges, the T2 provides the grip and dynamic range required for a world-class listening experience.
