Troy's Gold Plectranthus

Troy's Gold Plectranthus (Plectranthus ciliatus 'Troy's Gold')Troy's Gold plectranthus is an easy trailing plant that adds bright, golden foliage to containers, hanging baskets, and shady garden edges. The quilted leaves bring strong contrast all season, even when flowers are not the focus. It fills space quickly and softens hard lines by spilling neatly over rims and walls. If you want reliable color in bright shade with straightforward care, this plant is a strong choice. Distinctive FeaturesThis selection is grown for its luminous yellow leaves with darker green to purplish markings near the center, plus purple-toned stems and leaf undersides that add depth. The foliage has a textured, quilted look that reads crisp up close and bold from a distance. Small, pale flowers in white to light lavender tones can appear on slender spikes in warm months, especially with good light. Its naturally spreading and trailing habit makes it especially useful for creating a full, finished look fast. Growing Conditions Sun: Bright shade to part sun, avoiding hot afternoon sun for the cleanest foliage. Soil: Well-drained potting mix or garden soil improved with organic matter.
