Trout linocut print

This piece is a hand printed fine art linocut print. This detailed relief print comes from and original hand drawing which is transferred to a linoleum block ready to be carefully carved, then the block is inked and laid on a press, paper is placed top and after applying pressure the print gets made. Bold and rhythmic, this hand-pulled lino print features a bass fish brought to life with geometric, folk-inspired patterns and textured scales. From the first hand-drawn lines to the careful carving and final print, every step of the creative process is done by hand.
