Tropical Weightlifting Belt

The Support You Need With the Good Vibes You Crave A Belt Unlike Any Other Our eye-catching 4" belt adheres to IWF standards for Olympic weightlifting competitions, so you can train and compete in style. This belt is specifically designed to stabilize your abdominal and lower back muscles, alleviating strain on your lumbar system while simultaneously supporting your core. Featuring a Velcro strap, this belt is also extremely easy to adjust. Whether you need a tighter fit for a heavy lift or a little more slack to breathe hard, this belt's got you covered! The Science Behind the Materials Sweat a lot? This belt is for you! More resilient than silk, polyester is renowned for being sturdy and water-resistant. It actually repels liquid rather than absorbing and retaining it as natural fabrics do, which means you and your workout clothes stay drier longer. Since Polyester is moisture-wicking, it doesn't create added weight, is less likely to have issues with mold or mildew, and is a top choice for athletes across the globe. Think you're strong? So is Polyester! It has a high tensile tear and burst strength despite its lightweight. But Polyester isn't the only material that makes up our beautiful belts - they are also made with Lycra! Like Polyester, Lycra is durable, wicks moisture, and dries quickly. It even has great air permeability, so you can feel the breeze and feel the burn all at the same time. Of course, Lycra also offers unrestricted motion as it can expand to nearly 600 percent of its size - making it another top choice for athletes! The combination of polyester and lycra in our belts allows the belt to move with you, keep you dry, and stay light - because anything less would be a drag, dude. Please note that this is NOT the same as your pants waist size. Be sure to measure just above the navel and below the rib cage, and also measure over your clothes as you will wear the belt over your WOD gear. Use a seamstress or pliable tape measure. Measure around the waist, around 4 inches above where your pants are. Do NOT pull your gut in! Relax and measure, then pull the measuring tape tight. Use this measurement to choose your correct belt size. Use that measurement and refer to the size guide above for the belt you are interested in ordering.
