Weight Capacity: 300 lbs. MSRP: $119.99   Description   If you have ever hauled a 35 lb stand a mile back into the timber, you already know why hunters keep coming back to the Trophy Treestands Explorer LT. At 21 lbs, it splits the difference between a featherweight saddle setup and a heavy lock-on, giving you a stand you can actually carry deep without cussing the entire way in. It is built for the hunter who likes to move when the wind shifts and the sign tells a different story than yesterday.   The 24" wide by 30" deep platform gives you plenty of real estate to shuffle your feet for that quartering-away shot, and the 20" by 16" seat is roomy enough to keep your legs from going numb when the rut action drags into hour six. Steel construction means it shrugs off weather, bumps in the truck bed, and the occasional drop when you are setting it 20 feet up in the dark. Rated for 300 lbs, it handles you, your bow, your pack, and all the layers November throws at you.   Pair it with a set of climbing sticks and you have got a quiet, mobile system that can be tucked against a tree in under 10 minutes. Whether it is hung as a permanent set on the family farm or carried in for a one-and-done public land sit, the Explorer LT earns its keep. And because we have been outfitting hunters at Outdoors For Less since 1998, you are not buying it from a faceless warehouse. You are buying it from folks who actually sit in trees.   Check Out The Full Lineup Of Trophy Treestands Gear   Trophy Treestands Hunting Gear   Why Hunters Love It   Hunters keep coming back to the Explorer LT for one simple reason: it gets out of the way and lets you hunt. The platform is big enough to feel safe, the seat is comfortable enough to stay quiet, and the weight is light enough that you will actually move it when the deer change patterns. That is the trifecta most cheap stands never figure out.   It is the kind of stand you set once and forget about, then realize three seasons later it is still rock solid. Steel does not lie, and neither do the guys who have been hanging this thing in their best oak ridges since opening day.   Frequently Asked Questions   How much weight can the Explorer LT hold? The Explorer LT is rated for 300 lbs total. That covers the hunter plus bow, pack, and heavy cold-weather layers with margin to spare.   How heavy is the stand to pack in? It weighs 21 lbs, which is light for a steel hang-on. Most hunters strap it to a pack frame for the walk in and barely notice it compared to traditional steel stands.   What size is the platform and seat? The platform measures 24" wide by 30" deep, giving you a stable shooting base. The seat is 20" wide by 16" deep, comfortable enough for long sits during the rut.   Do I need climbing sticks or a ladder? Yes. The Explorer LT is a hang-on style stand, so you will need a set of climbing sticks or a ladder section to reach your hunting height. Most hunters run three or four sticks for a 17 to 20 foot set.   Is it quiet enough for public land? Steel stands can be noisy if you are careless, but the Explorer LT hangs tight against the tree and stays quiet once strapped down. A little stealth strip or foam on contact points makes it nearly silent.   Can I leave it in the tree all season? Yes. The steel construction holds up to weather, but we recommend pulling it down at the end of season to extend the life of the strap and inspect everything before next fall.
