Minimum Order: 10 Seats. Empower the next generation of creators with intuitive, powerful 3D modeling tools in your authorized training center. SketchUp Studio for Trimble SketchUp Studio for Authorized Training Centers 1-Year Subscription includes: SketchUp 2026 for Desktop (formerly known as SketchUp Pro) SketchUp 2026 for Desktop is the latest version of Trimble's 3D modeling software, bringing significant updates like AI tools (AI Assistant, AI Render), performance boosts for large models, enhanced Live Component handling, better DWG/IFC interoperability, and advanced Ambient Occlusion controls. What’s New in SketchUp 2026: Collaboration in SketchUp: You can now share SketchUp models through a private invite or by creating and sharing a public link. Those you share your model with can navigate your model, take measurements, leave comments, and even see updates in real-time. Visualization: SketchUp 2026 introduces a Distance Multiplier and color controls for Ambient Occlusion, the ability to invert a material’s roughness map, and the much-requested ability to choose the thumbnail you prefer when viewing your materials. Performance: Sketchup 2026 improves both memory and working efficiency, making Sketchup more efficient, faster, and reliable. These performance updates are especially noticeable when working with large models. Live Components: SketchUp 2026 adds functionality to the Scale tool, adding grips allowing you to place and size Live Components by inference. Since you can now use the Paint Tool to apply materials outside of a component’s predefined options, Trimble has added several quality-of-life improvements to painting Live Components. Modeling Workflows and Interface Updates: SketchUp 2026 includes several notable improvements across scaling, rotating, scenes, and inferencing. Managing Activations: You can now reset all activations and authorize your current device without leaving SketchUp for Desktop. Interoperability: SketchUp 2026 now offers several fidelity and efficiency improvements for importing and exporting DWG files. This includes hatch support and preserving section planes. The IFC export workflow has also been enhanced, consolidating IFC 2x3 and IFC 4 into a single file type with expanded Export Options. Scan Essentials: Scan Essentials includes two new point cloud modeling workflows, the Texture Projection and Mesh Generation tools. The new Scene Manager better controls the visibility of point clouds in both SketchUp and Layout. With this update, you can also easily revert to the original georeferenced coordinate system when exporting. LayOut Interface and Performance Updates: The LayOut interface on Windows looks and operates more like SketchUp with updated iconography, tray and panel configurations, and toolbar customization. LayOut Drafting Tools: Four new drafting tools, Trim, Extend, Fillet, and Chamfer, are now available. These tools provide a more intuitive and effective way to create and manipulate 2D vectors. Scrapbook Improvements: LayOut’s default Scrapbooks now include 2D Windows, Doors, Furniture, Kitchen, Bath under the Architecture category and additional plan view People libraries. Importing and Exporting Improvements: LayOut 2026 brings multiple updates to DWG functionality, improving efficiency in how LayOut imports and exports your document using that file format including retaining SketchUp Tags and passing them as DWG layers. SketchUp for Authorized Training Centers also includes: LayOut: Present your work in 2D SketchUp for iPad: Sketch, mark up, and collaborate in 3D anywhere. SketchUp for Web: SketchUp’s core 3D modeler accessible on the web Scan Essentials: Import and view point clouds in SketchUp PreDesign: Enhance your design research AI Render: Easy-to-use generative AI to quickly generate images Sefaira: Building performance analysis for the early stages of design Trimble Connect: Cloud storage and collaboration platform Mobile Viewer: Review 3D models on mobile or tablet devices System Requirements: Windows 11: An internet connection both to install and authorize your subscription. Some features within SketchUp also require an internet connection. .NET Framework version 4.5.2 A 2+ GHz processor. A graphics card that’s separate from the CPU, also known as a discrete graphics card. Most current generation AMD or NVIDIA cards on the market are considered discrete. At least 8GB of RAM. At least 6GB of available hard disk space. A modern GPU with at least 8GB VRAM. SketchUp’s classic renderer requires OpenGL 3.1 support. SketchUp’s performance relies on your graphics card driver and its ability to support OpenGL 3.1 or higher. A modern GPU with at least 32GB of VRAM when interacting with models utilizing materials with Physically Based Rendering texture maps, Ambient Occlusion, and Image Based Lighting. A 3-button, scroll-wheel mouse (A 3D Mouse is Highly Recommended) Mac OS 26 (Tahoe), 15 (Sequoia), 14+ (Sonoma), 13+ (Ventura): An internet connection both to install and authorize your subscription. Some features within SketchUp also require an internet connection. QuickTime 5.0 and web browser for multimedia tutorials. Safari. 2.1+ GHz processor or current generation Apple M1 processor At least 8GB of RAM At least 6GB of available hard-disk space A modern GPU with at least 1GB of memory. SketchUp’s classic renderer requires OpenGL 3.1 support. A 3-button, scroll-wheel mouse (A 3D Mouse is Highly Recommended) SketchUp's Graphics Engine: Sketchup 2024 introduced a powerful new graphics engine that comes with some additional requirements: For MacOS, you must use version 12.3.1 or above. We recommend at least 13 and above for optimal performance. The following MacOS GPUs are unsupported: Intel HD Graphics 5000 Intel HD Graphics 6000 Intel Iris Graphics Intel Iris Graphics 6100 Intel Iris Pro Graphics The following Windows GPUs are unsupported: Intel HD Graphics 4x00 series For MacOS, the new renderer requires Metal 2 support. For Windows, the new renderer requires DirectX12, feature level 11.0 support. Additional Compatibility Considerations: SketchUp 2026.1 – With the release of SketchUp 2026.1 Trimble has removed support for Windows 10. SketchUp 2026 – With the release of SketchUp 2026 Trimble added support for MacOS 26.0 (Tahoe). SketchUp 2026 is not compatible with devices running OS older than MacOS 13. Please Note: SketchUp Studio for Training Centers 1-Year Licenses are user-licenses (not device licenses) that are assigned to registered attendees. Administrators can easily deploy and manage multiple subscription seats using new bulk user upload and management features. Swap and shuffle entitlements with ease or bulk-delete students that no longer require access to the products. Each license must be assigned/linked to a user's email (by the administrator) in order for the user to activate and use the software.
