Trilogy Maui Whale Watch Tours – All Departures

Whale Watching on Maui is seasonal from December 15th through April 15th. While there are no whale-watching tours in the summer – during the winter, whale-watching is the most popular thing to do in Maui so be sure to book early! Coming in the summer? Don’t worry – there are a bunch of wonderful water activities in Maui to choose from! Trilogy Whale Watch has a brand that is recognizable around the world. They have the largest fleet of sailing catamarans on Maui and sets the standard for whale watching in Maui with multiple departure points. No matter where you are staying Trilogy has a whale-watching tour close to your accommodations. Watch the Whales in Comfort All of Trilogy Whale Watch’s catamarans have a large spacious main cabin, restrooms, and viewing areas from the front and back decks for watching the whales. Trilogy also provides snacks and beverages as part of the ticket price. A Maui whale-watching tour from a charter boat brings you within a couple of hundred yards of the whales. This provides a unique experience in whale watching. Often the captain of the boat moves to head the whales off and cut his engines. The whales continue their course, passing close to the boat. This is when the best photo opportunities for capturing the Humpback Whale occur. Whether it’s a tail slap, a fin slap, or a breach, your Trilogy Whale Watch will get you on top of all the action. In some cases, the whales pop their noses out of the water and watch you. We have always found this amazing as the Humpback Whale is smarter than we ever thought. An onboard naturalist provides a narration of the habits of the humpback whales as you are enjoying these beautiful creatures of the sea. The whales swim up to the boat in most cases, providing great photo opportunities to remember your Maui vacation for years to come. Besides the first-class customer service Trilogy is known for, another feature that separates them is they sail back to the harbor. During the whale watching season, most other sailing catamarans lower their sails and don’t actually sail at all. Trilogy is an exception to that rule. Trilogy is a very popular whale-watch charter, so they sell out rather quickly. The sailing catamarans Trilogy uses for their whale watching tours in Maui are un-crowded with small groups designed for your comfort.
