Trico Double Wing Spinner

Trico Double Wing Spinner — tiny mayfly, massive temptation Meet the Trico Double Wing Spinner: the pint-sized mayfly that turns cautious trout into theatrical attackers. If you fish summer-to-fall hatches, this is the little hero pattern that keeps your line singing and your ego intact. Built for anglers who care about presentation and enjoy exaggerating their catch stories. AXG Life — Life, Adventure-Ready. Key Features & Design Species inspiration: Tricorythodes family (classic Trico emergence pattern). Color: pale gray/olive body with light gray double wings — mimics natural duns and spinners precisely. Hatch timing: designed for hatches that swarm from July until October; ideal for late-evening and early-morning action. Presentation: double-wing profile imitates spinners falling in the morning as air temperature rises — subtle, realistic surface behavior. Purpose: small dry/dropper setups or tight-line presentations when Tricos are on the menu. Performance & Benefits When the river fills with tiny pale bugs and the hatch starts whispering “feed me,” this pattern does the convincing. The pale gray/olive body and light gray wings provide the exact silhouette trout recognize during Trico events, so your fly looks less like fashion and more like dinner. How it helps you: Delivers realistic surface action for picky trout during Trico hatches — fewer refusals, more polite splashes. Works great in late-evening and early-morning windows when duns and spinners are most active — turns stuck weekends into hero stories. Pairs perfectly with a small dropper or by itself on a tight-line for technical, satisfying trout fishing. So if you want believable presentation without theatrics, the Trico Double Wing Spinner is your wingman. AXG Life — Life, Adventure-Ready. Add this pattern to your fly box and make your next Trico hatch a headline act.
