Richard is a Longwing brogue, also known as “American” brogues are characterized by wings that extend the full length of the shoe, meeting at a center seam at the heel.  C.F Stead waxy suede is a traditional heavy weight “Hunting Suede” or reverse suede. It offers a characteristic rough, casual suede with a completely natural full grain on the reverse, which is provided oiled and waxed to provide a high level of weather proofing. This offers comfort and durability, and the waxed suede can be readily brushed and re-waxed to restore the original look after heavy wear. The Fit This last has been used for decades. It is part of our history and character as England's oldest shoe manufacturer. The size (length fitting) of Tricker’s footwear made on this last (W2298) is true to size, we recommend sticking to your regular UK size (one full step down from your US size).
