TRIPOST RACK 2.0 The Rack That Centers Everything. The TriPost Rack 2.0 wasn’t redesigned to look different. It was redesigned because we listened. What started as a compact Solo Stand evolved into something bigger — because our community pushed it there. You didn’t just want a fold-away unit for the Isolator. You wanted: A rack replacement A multi-station A system hub Something that could center attachments properly Something smarter than a traditional 4-post rack So we built it. Then we rebuilt it better. Why TriPost Instead of a Traditional Rack? At first glance, people ask: “Why not just use a normal squat rack?” Fair question. Here’s the answer. 1️⃣ Smaller Footprint — But That’s Not the Real Advantage 39” wide total frame Narrower than most traditional racks (typically ~41”+) Yes — it’s slightly smaller. But the real advantage isn’t the rack size. It’s the rack size after you add attachments. Traditional racks force attachments to hang off the side: Isolator arms protrude outward Seats extend past the footprint Weight horns stick outside the frame Pulley systems widen the rack The usable footprint expands. The TriPost changes that. The Power of the Center Upright The defining feature of the TriPost Rack is the rear middle upright. That center upright allows you to: Mount the Isolator so the seat faces inside the rack Keep the weight arm inside the rack’s footprint Maintain clean geometry Eliminate awkward side protrusion Instead of expanding outward… Everything stays centered. This isn’t just space saving. It’s system efficiency. The Evolution to 2.0 The original TriPost was modular and foldable. It was built during the early days of the Isolator when customers asked for: Fold-away storage Backyard workouts Beach setups Trade show portability Some people used it that way. Most didn’t. Most left it assembled full-time. And that meant: Extra weight wasn’t necessary Overbuilt steel wasn’t necessary Modular extenders weren’t necessary So we refined it. What Changed in TriPost 2.0 ✔ One-Piece Uprights ✔ Fully Adjustable Upright Positioning ✔ Optimized Steel Gauge ✔ Permanent Pull-Up Bar Compatibility ✔ VTS-Optimized Structure ✔ VBS (Vertical Belt Squat) Compatibility This version reflects how people actually use it. Adjustable Upright Architecture In the original version, the dual front uprights were welded in place. That limited: Front base depth Spotter arm positioning Custom configurations TriPost 2.0 uses bolt-on upright brackets that can be positioned anywhere along the base frame. That means you can: Slide front uprights forward or backward Increase front base support Optimize spotter arm placement Adjust spacing for Isolator or VTS work Tune geometry for your training style The rack adapts to you. Not the other way around. Repositionable Rear Center Upright The rear middle upright is now also adjustable. Multiple frame holes allow you to slide it forward or backward along the base. Why does that matter? Because force direction matters. VBS (Vertical Belt Squat) Compatibility The TriPost Rack 2.0 is fully compatible with our VBS – Vertical Belt Squat. You can mount the VBS: Facing off the back of the center upright Or reposition the center upright for optimal rear support But here’s the important engineering note: Torque & Load Mechanics The VBS uses a trolley system. When you stand up under load: The force travels vertically The trolley creates rearward torque That torque wants to rotate the rack backward If the center upright is mounted too close to the rear edge of the base frame — with minimal frame behind it — heavy lifting can create backward rotational force. That’s physics. So in 2.0, we added additional mounting positions so you can: Move the center upright forward Increase rear base support Reduce rotational torque Optimize for heavier belt squat loading If you're lifting lighter, the traditional rear position may work. If you're lifting heavy, reposition it forward. You choose based on your setup. This is configurable geometry — not static design. One-Piece Uprights – Built for the VTS Era The original TriPost used short uprights with bolt-on extenders. When customers started running the VTS on it, they noticed: The rollers would pass over the seam between upright sections. That transition caused: A noticeable bump Reduced smoothness Less premium feel So we eliminated it. TriPost 2.0 uses single-piece uprights. Benefits: No seam transitions No roller bump with VTS Reduced shake and flex Increased rigidity Cleaner overall feel under load Even better — these new uprights can retrofit onto original TriPost units. Smarter Steel. Same Strength. The original version used thicker steel because it needed to support folding modularity. Since most customers leave the rack assembled full-time, we optimized the gauge. Now: More like a traditional squat rack Reduced shipping weight Lower freight costs Lower production cost More competitive final pricing We removed excess weight. Not structural integrity. The New Pull-Up Bar System The old version required removal of the pull-up bar in certain configurations. That reduced lateral rigidity between the front uprights. TriPost 2.0 features: Bolt-on pull-up bar Compatible with one-piece uprights Adds side-to-side rigidity Can remain mounted full-time Retrofit-compatible with older units You can also add: Rear pull-up dip bar TRX straps Suspension trainers Additional accessory attachments True Multi-Station Capability With proper configuration, the TriPost Rack 2.0 can serve as: Barbell squat rack VTS Smith-style station Isolator platform High/Low pulley system (rear upright trolley) Vertical Belt Squat station Pull-up station Dip station Suspension training hub And it does this without rack sprawl. Everything stays within intelligent geometry. Why Three Uprights Beat Four Most racks give you four uprights — none in the center. TriPost gives you: Two front uprights for barbell work One centered rear upright for attachments That centerline positioning changes everything. It keeps attachments aligned. It keeps weight centered. It keeps footprint contained. It’s not about how many posts you have. It’s about where they are. Who Is TriPost Rack 2.0 For? Home gym owners maximizing space Isolator and VTS users Belt squat lifters Engineering-minded buyers Anyone who wants one system instead of multiple stations TriPost Rack 2.0 Not fold-away. Not overbuilt. Not compromised. Just smarter. Configurable geometry One-piece uprights Adjustable base positioning VTS smooth VBS capable Centered attachments Reduced footprint expansion Three uprights. Endless configurations. Centered. Balanced. Bulletproof.
