Tri-Blend Dark Roast

Tri-blend is a dark roast blend. Made up of Kenyan, Colombian, and Brazilian coffee. Tasting notes: Dark chocolate, cocoa, nutmeg, and a smoky finish! There are no added flavors to our coffee; just the naturally occurring tasting notes! Tri-blend comes in three size options:  5 pounds (80 ounces), 1 pound (16 ounces) & 1/2 pound (8ounces) We roast to order, meaning, we either roast it the day it comes in or at most, was roasted 3 days ago. This is to guarantee you're getting the freshest possible coffee! We choose to go with a blend of Kenyan, Colombian, and Brazil because they compliment each other well. Brazil adds a rich, dark, and smokey flavor profile that makes for the best espresso. For brewing method, we recommend pour over, french press and espresso. Pour over results in a smooth and well balanced dark roast.  French press will enhance the dark rich flavors like dark chocolate, cocoa, nuttiness, and smokey. Espresso gives a rich crema with notes of rich dark chocolate, nuttiness, and a creamy finish. For a stronger cup we recommend a 1/14 brew ratio. For a balanced cup a 1/16 brew ratio is perfect. For a lighter cup a 1/17 or 1/18 brew ratio does wonders.
