Tree Trunk Protector Strap

A dedicated rigging tool with a 12000kg (26400lbs) minimum breaking strain designed to protect both the tree and your winch line during heavy recoveries. Using a tree as an anchor point is a standard recovery procedure. But wrapping a thin winch rope or a chain directly around a trunk is a rookie mistake. It cuts into the bark, kills the tree, and gets our favourite tracks shut down. It also destroys your expensive synthetic rope through abrasion against rough bark. The Carbon Offroad Tree Trunk Protector is the solution. It spreads the load, saves the tree, and keeps your winch line in perfect condition. Responsible four-wheel driving keeps the gates open for everyone. Use the right gear. Rig it correctly. Add the Carbon Tree Trunk Protector to your kit and recover with confidence. Features Massive Breaking Strain: This is not a tow strap. It is a dedicated rigging tool built to handle the immense forces of a stuck 4WD. With a 12000kg (26400lbs) minimum breaking strain you have a massive safety margin even for heavy builds. The Length Advantage: Most protectors are too short for old-growth trees. We gave you 5m (16ft) of length so you can anchor off the big solid gums and oaks that you actually need for a heavy recovery. Abrasion Barrier: Your winch rope costs hundreds of dollars. This strap takes the abuse against the rough surface of the tree so your main line stays smooth and intact.
