Trebuchet

The desktop Trebuchet provides a fun and exciting environment for studying energy conservation, levers, projectile motion, inertia, forces, and more! Powered by gravitational potential energy, this easy-to-assemble kit provides hands-on, practical building experience while fueling imagination with history and science. Investigate how projectile range is affected by weight, weight position, sling length, pivot point, and projectile mass. Finished frame is 12 inches high and requires assembly. Check out the data sheet to discover the physics behind how the Trebuchet works and its history including tips on how you can make it throw farther! All courtesy of Prof. Kevin M.
