Treatment Parameters in IASTM Bundle

Treatment Parameters in IASTM – Parts 1 & 2 Bundle 3.25 CEUs • 186 Minutes of Content Advance your clinical skills with this comprehensive two-course bundle, Treatment Parameters in IASTM, led by Mike Ploski, PT, ATC, OCS, GTS. Together, these sessions provide a complete exploration of the key principles and precise dosage parameters that drive safe, effective, and evidence-based outcomes using the Graston Technique®. Across both courses, clinicians will learn how stroke variations, instrument edges, patient positioning, and therapeutic exercise influence the physiological effects of IASTM — and how to apply the right dosage to achieve specific treatment goals. From pain modulation and improved range of motion to scar mobilization, edema reduction, and tendinosis management, this series equips participants with strategies that refine decision-making and elevate patient care. By the end of the bundle, clinicians will have a deeper, more confident understanding of how to tailor treatment applications for individual patient presentations, enhance tissue healing, and improve functional mobility and overall recovery. Part 1: Optimal Dosage Objectives Identify various treatment edges of IASTM instruments. Discuss how stroke variations impact physiological effects of IASTM. Discuss how patient positioning affects IASTM treatment. Discuss the impact of exercise as part of the Graston Technique treatment algorithm. Part 2: Modes of Application Objectives Identify various applications for IASTM treatment. Identify proper IASTM dosage parameters for pain modulation. Identify proper IASTM dosage parameters to improve ROM. Identify proper IASTM dosage parameters for scar mobilization. Identify proper IASTM dosage parameters for edema reduction. Identify proper IASTM dosage parameters for the treatment of tendinosis.
