Martin's Trappist Single Recipe Kit

This is a beer brewing kit built for a great first batch. This Trappist Single recipe kit comes with every pre-measured ingredient you need to brew Martin's Trappist Single, a 5-gallon all-grain batch, from grain to glass. The Trappist single, also called an enkel or patersbier, is the beer the monks keep for themselves. Most abbeys sell their dubbels and tripels but brew a lighter beer for the daily table, low enough in strength to drink at lunch and still work the afternoon. Westvleteren's blonde is the best-known example most people never get to taste. It is pale, dry, and lightly bitter, carrying the same spicy, fruity yeast signature that runs through the stronger abbey beers, only at a gentler gravity. The pleasure is in the balance rather than any single big flavor. Restraint is the point. What's In The KitYour Trappist Single recipe kit includes everything below, portioned and ready to brew.
