Summer Trapeze Camp — Full Week (Drop-in Days Now Available)

The Camp They'll Talk About for Years Some camps keep kids busy. This one changes them. Santa Barbara Trapeze Camp is a full week of flying—real trapeze, real progression, real catches. But ask any kid who's been through it, and they won't lead with the tricks. They'll tell you about the friends. The moment someone cheered for them mid-air. The feeling of being part of something. What a Week Looks Like Morning: Build the Skills Kids progress through real trapeze technique—takeoffs, positions, tricks, timing. By mid-week, they're working toward catches with instructors on the rig. This isn't watered-down. It's the real thing, taught by professionals who know how to meet each kid exactly where they are. Afternoon: Build the Crew Games. Challenges. Ground skills. Team-building that actually means something because they've already been vulnerable together 30 feet up. The friendships that form here are different. When you've watched someone push through fear and fly, you don't forget them. What's Really Happening Yes, they'll learn tricks. Yes, some will catch by Friday. But here's what we're actually building: Kids who try scary things anyway. The trapeze doesn't care about your feelings. You either go or you don't. Learning to go anyway—that's the skill that transfers everywhere. Kids who cheer for each other. Every attempt gets celebrated. Not just the successes. The tries. The almost-there's. The "I can't believe you went for it's." Kids who belong to something. A crew. A week of shared experience that turns strangers into friends who text each other months later. The Environment We Create No rankings. No "best camper." No toxic competition. Just a group of kids who showed up, pushed through fear together, and left knowing they're capable of more than they thought. Some kids come back summer after summer. Not just for the flying. For the people. Camp Details Ages: 6-14 years old Schedule: Monday–Friday, full day Week cost: $550 What to bring: Lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, clothes they can move in Experience needed: None. That's never happened with any other camp." "The confidence she built wasn't just about trapeze. It was about knowing she could do hard things with people who had her back." What Kids Say "I was scared the whole first day. By Wednesday I didn't want it to end." "I made friends I still talk to. We went through something together." "It's not like other camps. Everyone actually cares if you do it." The Investment $550 for a week that builds skills, friendships, and the kind of confidence that shows up in everything else they do.
