Tranquility

"I love this painting—it gives me this incredibly cool feeling. It's inspired by the Turks and Caicos, a British sovereign state. The water there is absolutely delightful. I live in Colorado and love the mountains, but there's nothing like the water in Turks and Caicos. I wanted to see how many shades and tones of blue I could incorporate into one piece. It’s full of amazing rhythm. When I look at it, especially with the stunning reflection, I feel like I'm lying on the beach, gazing at the view. I could look at this forever... Tranquility."
