With 10 ergonomically placed neoprene-padded handles — not plastic, not rubber, not bare fabric — you get a confident grip no matter the movement: clean, carry, press, squat, or throw. Built from 1680D Ballistic Nylon with exceptional abrasion resistance, this bag is engineered to outlast years of heavy training. Internal webbing reinforcements at every stress point mean this sandbag won't fail when you push past your limits. Why Full-Size Integrated Liner Matters Most training sandbags use small, separate filler bags that bunch up inside, creating dead space and an unbalanced load. This causes two problems: Unbalanced load: The bag feels awkward and shifts unpredictably during lifts and carries Poor weight distribution: Sand settles unevenly, making the bag feel lumpy and unpredictable Freedom Strength uses a full-size integrated liner — the same professional design as our competition-proven Strongman Sandbags. The liner fills the entire outer shell, so sand distributes evenly throughout the bag for a balanced, natural feel on every movement. This isn't a small detail. It's the difference between a sandbag that feels like a quality training tool and one that feels like a lumpy sack of sand. Full-size integrated liner ensures even weight distribution and balanced feel What Makes It Different 10 neoprene-padded handles — ergonomic placement for every lift, carry, and press angle 1680D Ballistic Nylon shell & inner liner — 68% more abrasion-resistant than Rogue and GoRuck's 1000D Cordura Full-size integrated liner — not a small separate filler bag — our one-piece liner fills the entire shell so sand distributes evenly and the bag holds its shape Integrated built-in funnel — fill in minutes, no separate funnels to buy or lose Double Velcro + YKK zipper closure — sand stays where it belongs Internal webbing reinforcements — added strength at every stress point 7 sizes from 15 to 250 lbs — from youth athletes to competitive strongmen Used in Tactical Games competitions — trusted by tactical athletes nationwide 1-year warranty — covering defects and normal wear and tear 10 ergonomic neoprene-padded handles for confident grip on every movement What Athletes Are Saying "This was my first Freedom Strength training bag (I have 3 strongman bags already) and I love it! My last off-brand handled bag started leaking within a few weeks, but this one is extremely durable. I also love the handles, all other training bags I've had have had handles that are way too long and thin, the ones on the Freedom Strength bag are much more functional. It's a great training bag and I 100% recommend it" — Kindall M., Verified Buyer "I used my sand bag in a fitness and shooting competition. We tortured this 100lb bag for 2 days straight throwing it over objects and slamming it in the ground. These bags are tough as nails! Couldn't be happier" — Zac W., Verified Buyer "Love my sandbag. The quality exceeds expectations. I also LOVE how easy it is to fill with sand. The design was definitely made by those who lift and use them. Frequently Asked Questions What is the difference between Freedom Strength training sandbags and other brands? Two major differences set Freedom Strength apart: (1) Full-size integrated liner — Most competing sandbags (including GoRuck and Rogue) use small, separate filler bags that bunch up and create dead space. Freedom Strength uses a single full-size integrated liner that fills the entire shell for even weight distribution and balanced feel. (2) Superior materials — Freedom Strength uses 1680D Ballistic Nylon (68% more abrasion resistance than the 1000D Cordura used by Rogue and GoRuck), combined with neoprene-padded handles, built-in funnel, and internal webbing reinforcements. What size training sandbag should I buy? Beginners should start with the Small (40-60 lbs). Intermediate athletes training for CrossFit or general strength do well with Medium or Large (60-100 lbs). Advanced athletes and strongman competitors should look at X-Large through Monster (125-250 lbs). For a child or youth athlete, the Kids size (15-25 lbs) is purpose-built for smaller frames. What type of sand should I use to fill the sandbag? We recommend dry play sand, available at most hardware stores like Home Depot or Lowe's. Avoid wet or damp sand as it can add unpredictable weight and may affect the bag over time. Do not fill beyond the maximum recommended weight range. Does the sandbag come filled with sand? No — all Freedom Strength sandbags ship empty. This keeps shipping costs low and lets you fill to your preferred weight using dry play sand available at any local hardware store. How durable are Freedom Strength training sandbags? Freedom Strength training sandbags are built from 1680D Ballistic Nylon which has 68% more abrasion resistance than the 1000D Cordura used by Rogue and GoRuck. Additional webbing reinforcements at every stress point provide maximum durability. Every bag is backed by a 1-year warranty covering defects and normal wear and tear. What exercises can I do with a training sandbag? Training sandbags are extremely versatile. Common exercises include: sandbag cleans, squats, deadlifts, shouldering, ground-to-overhead, overhead press, bear hug carries, shoulder carries, suitcase carries, bent-over rows, get-ups, and rotational movements. The 10 handles allow for varied grip positions suited to all these movements. How does Freedom Strength compare to Rogue and GoRuck? Freedom Strength Training Sandbags use 1680D Ballistic Nylon (68% stronger than Rogue and GoRuck's 1000D Cordura), a full-size integrated liner (GoRuck uses separate filler bags that bunch up), and 10 neoprene-padded handles (Rogue uses 7 bare webbing handles). Freedom Strength also has the highest customer rating in the industry at 4.98/5 stars from 118 reviews compared to Rogue's 4.7/5 and GoRuck's 4.5/5. Ready to Train?
